昨天在youtube上闲逛，不知道怎么就连上We are the world了，一口气听了好几遍。

1984-85年非洲埃塞俄比亚的旱灾（加上内战）造成了严重的人道主义灾难，饿死者超过百万。国际社会发起了声势浩大的援助活动。1985年7月13日，伦敦和费城通过卫星同时举办一场慈善音乐会(Live Aid)为非洲灾民募捐。We are the world就是在这个背景下由Michael Jackson和Lionel Richie共同谱写的（录制于85年元月28日，当年3月7日发行的）。

据说这个1985年的合唱邀请了很多当时的红星，惭愧的很，我一眼能认出来只有Michael Jackson（以及那时候还很嫩的Janet）和Cindy Lauper。有些歌手的歌比较熟悉，但大部分都从来没听过。

下面是我搜到的一个带字幕的版本：

6. Tina Turner



Tina Turner生于39年11月26日，葛莱美获奖歌手。她是历史上最成功的女歌手之一，唱片的总销量达1亿8千万张。

7. Billy Joel



Billy Joel出生于４９年５月９日，６届葛莱美奖得主，全球唱片销量达１亿５千万张。



Uptown Girl，百老汇的味道很浓，８３年的曲子，最高排名第三。这个是卡拉Ok版，原版帖不上来（不能嵌入）

8. Michael Jackson



出生于５８年８月２９日，全球唱片销量７亿５千万张。印象里大学时候，楼道里听得最多的就是Michael Jackson和崔健。不管这些年他的负面新闻有多少，他都是我心目中的Number 1的歌王。

Michael的Billie Jean, Beat it, Bad, Man in the mirror, Black or white都曾是美国唱片排行榜榜首的歌。但是，MJ最出名的还是这首Thriller
